Seeking God Always Has Great Benefits

2 Chronicles 14:11

"LORD, there is no one besides You to help in the battle between the powerful and those who have no strength; help us, LORD our God, for we trust in You, and in Your name have come against this multitude. LORD, You are our God; do not let man prevail against You."

Our trust in God grows when we seek Him. King Asa practiced seeking God and maintained an accurate view of both the Lord’s strength and his own weakness. He knew that victory over such a vast army could only be secured by the Lord’s hand. By putting his full trust in God, he allowed the Lord to work on his behalf.

Those who seek God will find Him taking over their battles and confrontations. As Exodus 14:14 says: "The Lord will fight your battle, and you shall hold your peace." God remains faithful to all who seek Him in truth.

2 Chronicles 15:15

"And all Judah rejoiced at the oath: for they had sworn with all their heart, and sought him with their whole desire; and he was found of them: and the Lord gave them rest round about."

When we follow the Lord with conviction and boldness, remaining faithful to His calling, others notice our commitment. A lifestyle that glorifies Him naturally encourages others to join us in seeking Him for themselves.

I encourage you to seek His Word, His truth, and all that He is. Make it your purpose to know Him. The more you know the Lord, the more you will yearn to please Him above yourself. In pleasing God, you will discover how truly wonderful He is.

Seeking God is always rewarding and for our own benefit. May you be a seeker of God and never be disappointed, in Jesus' mighty name.
