Roman 12: 1-2

12 "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."

Corinthians 5:17: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”

At new birth we receive the breath of God

This marked the beginning of man becoming a new creature, a born-again child of God. Man was created anew enabling believers to live by the power of the Holy Spirit and walk out what had been accomplished within man.

We have the God-given ability to transform our mind, will, and emotions, our soul, to reflect the new inner man of the heart. The journey we are on is a journey of transformation. As believers, the major work of being created new has already been accomplished; now we are called to renew our minds. That is done by the word of God washing our minds from the stain of the world.

As you read His Word with the desire to be like Him, you will find the Holy Spirit empowering you to be more and more like Jesus. You are on the beautiful journey of becoming like Him in spirit, soul, and body.

Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Thessalonians 5:23. Amen!
