That We Might Receive The Promise Through Faith: .
Hebrew 11: 1 & 6.
" Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."
6 "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."
Hebrew 6: 12
"That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises."
What's the promise we are to receive through faith ? The promises are those things promised us by God Himself. Believers are to avoid unbelief and imitate those who, through unwavering faith and steady patience, inherit God's promises.
Patience bridges the gap between believing God's word and receiving the results, ensuring faith remains firm during trials. It is by our absolute trust in God that we can receive what we desire to see.
We are urged to be imitators of those who waited to see the promise. Abraham trusted God and received the promise through faith and endurance with patience.
While faith initiates the process, patience is necessary to endure the waiting period until the promise is fully realized.
What has God promised you in His word or personally? Wait for it patiently in prayer, supplications, and thanksgiving.
Habakkuk 2:3
"For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak and not lie; though it tarry, wait for it, because it will surely come; it will not tarry."
Hebrew 10:23
Let us hold fast to the profession of our faith without wavering (for He is faithful who promised),
God is too faithful to fail. He is dependable, He is more than enough, and there is no closed case with God. His promises will never expire.
