Prayer, the first and final frontier.

As the holidays draw near, people get very anxious about many different things. The crowded stores, money for gifts, family gatherings, a new year.. The list goes on.

Do you need help? Pray! Are you sad or lonely, pray! Have you been betrayed or offended? Pray! Are funds low? Pray! Have you received a negative medical report? Pray! Whatever the crisis, call on the Lord in the day of trouble and He will deliver you.

When you are confused or need solutions, pray! God has promised to answer you, and show you great and mighty things that you have not known. Don't reach for the phone before you have prayed. The arm of flesh (reliance on human strength) will fail. Give God the opportunity to help you and let Him be glorified through you. God promised to guide and instruct us. Talk to Jesus, invite Him into the situation and give the Lord the invitation to intervene in your life - daily. Invite Him into your life and give Him control, even when all is going well. Pray when you are joyful; pray when things are routine; pray, when you don't feel like praying. Like the Scripture says, 'pray unceasingly'.

Great men of God like George Mueller knew prayer is the secret, powerful weapon that brings heaven down to earth. He said, "No one ought to expect to see much good resulting from his labors in word, and doctrine, if he is not much given to prayer and meditation." He spoke from personal experience, praying daily for seven years to house four hundred more orphans. He received the answer by faith and with expectation that God will do it in His timing. He is also quoted as saying "The beginning of anxiety is the end of faith, and the beginning of true faith is the end of anxiety.”

Prayer is the first step in demonstrating your trust in God. Start the conversation, establish the relationship. Talk to God about everything and watch Him work in every area of your life. When we pray in the name of Jesus, He promises that God hears us and when He hears us, He will do what we ask. (This blank check is not for whimsical fancies but for the sincere request of your heart as you align yourself with the plans and purpose of God).

What do you need today? Let us pray for you, and agree that God will arise and help you. He is the Almighty Creator of the universe. Is there anything too hard for God? He is just waiting for you to ask for His help. Send your prayer request to: admin@pray4me.org and we will pray for you. Shalom!
