Regarding my Co-worker

I can't offer many details out of obligation towards them, but I do have a co-worker who has a lot of financial troubles with their car which they recently obtained. They're a very irresponsible sort of person that has 3 children, likes to gamble, and they don't seem to make a lot of good choices for their life. (What doesn't help matters is that they seem to be living with a troubled family that doesn't care about their well-being one way or the other.) They've also asked me for money from time to time and I have been left poor as a result. I know Jesus said that we should be willing to give, but this situation with my co-worker was one that went a little too far for anything I expected. I just want to pray that things turn out okay, that they, my co-worker learns to be more wise, that I learn patience in my suffering, and I grow in faith. I know I have made a lot of mistakes, especially in regards to the Co-worker, but it's not like I can just turn back now, and I have to move forward.
