Prayer for Help to Deal with another Sexual Failure

I’m asking for prayer during a very painful and deeply personal season of my life. I’ve been carrying a lot of guilt, shame, grief, and confusion, and I’m realizing how much I need God’s grace, forgiveness, and healing. I’ve sinned sexually, and I genuinely want to repent and turn away from that part of my life. Please pray that God would cleanse my heart, forgive me completely, and help me believe that His mercy is greater than my mistakes. Pray that I would stop condemning myself and learn to receive the forgiveness He offers me. There is also a man I have cared for very deeply. I believe there has been real love and affection between us, but he has made it clear that he does not want me, and I am coming to accept that he is not my husband. That realization has broken my heart in ways I’m struggling to put into words. Please pray that God would help me truly let him go. I don’t want to manipulate, pursue, or hold on to something that God is asking me to surrender. I want to love him enough to release him into God’s hands, even though part of me still wishes things could have been different. Please pray for him too. I love him, and I want what is genuinely best for his soul and his life. Pray that God would protect him, guide him, heal him, bless him, and draw him closer to Himself. Pray that God would give him wisdom and peace and surround him with the right people and influences. And if there is anything in his heart that needs healing, I pray that God would meet him there. Please pray for me to have the strength to accept what I cannot change. Pray that I won't spend my life wondering whether I should have done something differently or hoping for something that God has not given me. Help me surrender my desire to be loved by this particular person and trust that God knows what I need better than I do. I am seriously considering a life of celibacy because I don't want to return to sexual sin, and I want to give this part of my life completely to God. Please pray that I would make this decision from a place of love and devotion to God—not from shame, heartbreak, fear, or a desire to punish myself. More than anything, please pray that God would restore my relationship with Him. I don't want my sin, my heartbreak, or my guilt to become bigger than God's love and mercy. I want to come out of this closer to Him, with a clean heart, a renewed mind, and the courage to follow Him wherever He leads me. Please pray that I would have peace about what I cannot understand, strength to release what I cannot keep, and faith to believe that God is still writing my story. Thank you for praying for me. I really need it right now.
