Marriage at risk

My husband (Tim)of 28 years has bipolar type one. In August 2023 due to a medication change, he began to have a long manic arc. It caused an identity collapse, and he was no longer the man I married. He didn’t look like himself and his behavior was drastically different from who he was. Bye April 2024 he said he no longer wanted to be married and he moved out in June. For the past two years, he has been out of the house living in a beach community, making new friends who have no idea that he has bipolar disorder or that he had been married. He’s running away from aging and death and responsibility. He is so ashamed that he cannot look at what he’s doing. His children are devastated and their future financial stability is being diminished. I am devastated. I’ve lost my best friend in the love of my life. He needs support because of his mental illness. Please pray that God will stabilize his brain chemistry so that he will have the capacity to look at what he’s doing to his family and bear the shame and desire to work to repair things. Please pray for my broken heart and for my children.
